Analysts calling for strong Android sales are being thrown off track،

Analyst TF International Ming-Chi Kuo released some notes online covering a wide variety of topics. It's an interesting and thoughtful holiday read as you sit by the fireplace, drawn to the warmth. Kuo notes that other analysts are bullish on Android, basing their optimism on strong demand for supply chain components. But Kuo has a different opinion, based on strong demand for a phone that isn't powered by iOS or Android.
Kuo claims that stronger-than-expected demand for the Huawei Mate 60 Pro (which is powered by Huawei's HarmonyOS) has led Huawei to spend heavily to purchase components for the Mate 60 line and other models. Android makers, picking up on this buying frenzy, felt compelled to do the same to ensure they had enough parts for their own products.
This “strong inventory replenishment,” as the analyst calls it (AI translation), is expected to end next month. But as this continues, Kuo says it gives the illusion of increased demand for Android phones. Kuo likens fake calls to high Android demand to a similar pattern that occurred during the second and third quarters of this year. That's when the strong inventory restocking in the computer and television sectors caused analysts to call for strong demand for these products which, incidentally, never materialized.
THE VisionPro is currently mass produced and mass shipments will begin in the first week of January. This suggests that the product will arrive in Apple Stores in the United States in late January or early February. Kuo notes that if user feedback is better than expected, it will show that “Vision Pro is the next blockbuster product in consumer electronics.”
