Learn more about Realme and its juicy offers

When it comes to beasts that never (officially) come to the US, Realme certainly has its share of teasers. Like the just-released Realme GT 5 Pro (pictured above). Aside from being sleek and stylish, it packs some serious specs: Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, a stunning 6.78-inch AMOLED display (2,780 x 1,264 pixels) with a refresh rate of 144 Hz. and a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits. Additionally, there is a massive 5,400mAh battery that has been confirmed to support 100W wired and 50W wireless charging speeds. In its home country, this Chinese killer is available at purchase from $465 and up to $590, depending on configuration.

And the killer new deal?

A look back at the Realme GT Neo 6 and information on its Looney Tunes price.

The claims can be found in the Weibo tipster Digital Chat Stationon the account of on the ultra-popular Chinese social networks (via Gizmochina). In one article, the tipster claims that 2024 could bring the Realme GT Neo 6 which would “continue to beat the lowest price” and that its “peripheral accessories will be the best”.

This is in line with the few previous rumors that mentioned the alleged Realme GT Neo 6 and its potential price around the $280 mark, but there's not much else to add aside from claims of a Snapdragon chip 8 Gen 2 found in high-end devices like the Galaxy S23 and OnePlus Open.

Release information is also speculative at this point: according to Weibo tipster MVP, the Realme GT Neo 6 will debut early next year, likely after the Chinese New Year which is due to be celebrated in the second half of February 2024.

If the pricing rumors turn out to be true, it could mean that the Realme GT Neo 6 will indeed be the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phone. The upcoming iQOO Neo 9 and OnePlus Ace 3 are also expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.

And finally, there's the question of how to get this phone, if it ever leaves China. Well, that's one of the reasons why it's important to have many friends. Preferably friends who live abroad and don't hesitate to send you flagship phones abroad!
