The year 2024 will begin with Xiaomi launching the Redmi Note 13 series. The Redmi Note 13 series will include 3 smartphones: Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. It will be launched on January 4 in India. The Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus and Redmi Note 13 Pro feature 6.67-inch AMOLED displays. The Pro Plus model will be powered by Dimensity 7200 Ultra while the Pro model will be powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. The design and other specifications of the 3 models launched in India will be similar to the Chinese models. Pricing details will be announced on January 4, 2024.

2. Samsung Galaxy S24 series

Samsung will hold a Galaxy Unpacked event on January 17 where it will announce the Samsung Galaxy S24 series for all markets. The series will include 3 models like in recent years: Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S24+ and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The smartphones will use Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2400 chipsets depending on the region. All 3 will run Android 14 with One UI 6.1 which is expected to roll out various AI features. The Galaxy S24 series will support satellite connectivity and could be made of titanium. Pricing and availability will be known when the devices launch next month.

3. Apple iPhone 16 series

The launch of the Apple iPhone series is one of the most anticipated technology events of the year. In 2024, Apple will announce the iPhone 16 series in September/October like every year. The iPhone 16 series is expected to include 4 smartphones: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus/Max, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The 16th generation iPhones will be powered by the A18 Bionic chipset and will run IOS 18 with various new features. Both smartphones in this series feature a triple camera setup at the rear and a Vivo V3 chip for better photography. Vivo continued its partnership with Zeiss to offer the best imaging capabilities with the X100 series. Both devices are IP68 rated and powered by the Dimensity 9300 SoC.

5. Oppo Reno 11 Series

Just like Vivo's X series is aimed at photographers, Oppo intends to do the same with the Reno series. The Oppo Reno 11 series has already been launched in China and like every year, it will come to India later in 2024. The series will most likely include the Oppo Reno 11, Oppo Reno 11 Pro and Oppo Reno 11 Pro Plus smartphones. The Reno 11 series will run Android 14 operating system with 50 MP main camera sensors on the back. On the front will be curved AMOLED displays and RAM+ROM configurations will go up to 12GB+512GB. In China, Oppo has launched these devices in Turquoise Green, Obsidian Black, and Moonstone colors.

6. Realme 12 and Realme 12 Pro series

Realme's Pro Number series is also one of the most anticipated launches of 2024. Realme will soon launch the Realme 12 series in global markets. It will include the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro Plus 5G. The devices were recently seen on the TDRA website, which means they will have 5G connectivity. The series was also seen on the BIS certification website, which means that the Realme 12 series will also be coming to India very soon. The smartphones are expected to feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Realme is also planning to launch the Realme 12 4G and 5G models.

7. Google Pixel 9 Series

It will have 100W support and feature a 6.82-inch LTPO OLED display panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The chipset will be paired with up to 24GB of RAM and up to 1TB storage. The OnePlus flagship is one of the most anticipated launches of 2024.

9.OnePlus 12R

Alongside the OnePlus 12 will launch the OnePlus 12R. The affordable smartphone from OnePlus is expected to have a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel and sport a 50MP+8MP+32MP camera setup at the back. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC and would be a rebrand of the OnePlus Ace 3 available in China.

10.iPhoneSE4

Besides the iPhone 16 series, Apple is expected to offer the iPhone SE 4 in 2024. It will be Apple's smallest device with a 4.7-inch screen, Touch ID, and a home button. The iPhone SE 4 will feature USB-C charging and a dual-lens camera setup on the back. The main camera could be 48MP. Nothing Phone 3 will have the signature transparent back panel with inclusion of glyph lights. It will focus on LED strips for notifications, making it more aesthetic and premium. The 3rd generation device is likely to be powered by the latest Snapdragon device and features a triple camera setup on the back.

12. Nothing Phone 2a

In 2024, Nothing should launch a more affordable smartphone, namely the Nothing Phone 2a. Nothing Phone 2a is said to be the cheaper version of Nothing Phone 2. Tipster Yogesh Brar has shared some specifications of the affordable Nothing smartphone. It was reportedly announced during MWC 2024 in February and claims that it will have a redesigned rear panel to differentiate it from flagship devices. According to the tipster, Nothing Phone 2a will have a Dimensity chipset, 120Hz OLED panel, Nothing OS 2.0, 50MP rear camera, and more.

13. Xiaomi 14 Series

The Xiaomi 14 series has gone official in China and is expected to arrive in India soon. Including the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphones, the series received BIS certification a few days ago, hinting at an upcoming launch in India. Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets and feature LTPO displays. The smartphones will run HyperOS based on Android 14 and feature 50MP camera setups on the rear. The series will launch in India in the first half of 2024.

14. Oppo Find X7 Series

Oppo Find X7 Pro

Oppo has already started teasing the Find X7 series globally. The series is known for its camera capabilities and unique design language. The Find X7 series includes the Oppo Find X7, Oppo Find X7 Pro and Oppo Find X7 Ultra. The series is confirmed to feature a 1-inch Sony LYT-900 camera sensor that will offer better low-light performance. The entire Find X7 series will pack 5,000mAh batteries and 100W wired fast charging support. Wireless charging will also be available. The Ultra model could feature a 6.82-inch LTPO display with 2K resolution and 3,168 × 1,440 pixels.
