The Honor 90 GT is now official and while the phone may be powered by the previous generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, there's probably nothing you can throw at the device that could cause an issue with the processor of application. The phone will sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1200 x 2664 and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The 90 GT comes with up to 24GB of RAM depending on the configuration the buyer chooses. The base configuration includes 12 GB of RAM while the mid configuration weighs 16 GB of RAM. Storage options range from 256GB to 1TB. The rear camera array includes a main camera backed by a Sony IMX906 sensor and OIS. There is also a 12 MP ultra-wide camera and a 16 MP front selfie sensor that uses the punch-hole cutout on the display.
Thanks to the inclusion of a state-of-the-art 3D vapor chamber cooling unit, heat shouldn't be an issue. The phone will come pre-installed with MagicOS 7.2, based on Android 14. Not only is the handset powered by a 5,000mAh battery, but it also supports 100W fast charging. With Black, Blue, and Gold color options , sales of the Honor 90 GT are expected to begin on December 26. on the Honor website.

The model with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will be priced at CNY2,599 ($364). The version with 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage will cost CNY 2,899 ($405), while the model equipped with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage will cost CNY 3,199 ($448). The top-end variant with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage will cost you CNY 3,699 ($518).

You may recall that Honor was at one time a sub-brand of Huawei, which required it to face the same sanctions imposed by the United States on Huawei. In November 2020, to allow Honor to evade US sanctions, Huawei sold the unit to a consortium for over $15 billion. The company thrived as an independent phone manufacturer.
