Here’s What The New MSI Prestige AI Series Laptops With Intel Core Ultra Processors Offer،
MSI has launched its new Prestige AI series in India. Models in the series, including Prestige 16 AI Studio, Prestige 16 AI Evo, and Prestige 13 AI Evo, will be available for purchase by March 2024. Although the company has not yet revealed the price, it has revealed full specifications and feature list.
MSI Prestige 16 AI Studio Specifications
The MSI Prestige 16 AI Studio has two display options: a 16-inch UHD+ OLED display and a 16-inch QHD+ IPS display. Under the hood, the laptops are equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 185H processor. Those looking for a slightly less powerful processor can also opt for the Intel Core Ultra 7 155H processor. Both chipsets are combined with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
The AI Studio series also has optional GPUs, where users can select up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 with 8GB GDDR6 RAM. Users can also choose between a GeForce RTX 4060 6GB GDDR6 GPU and a GeForce RTX 4050 GPU with 6GB GDDR6 RAM. Depending on the GPU, the price of the model will change.
In terms of ports, users get one Thunderbolt 4/DP port supporting PD 3.1 charging, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port supporting PD 3.0 charging, one USB 3.2 Gen port 2 Type-A, an SD card reader, an HDMI Port supporting 8K video at 60 frames per second and an RJ45 port. The laptop also has a stereo speaker setup, an audio jack, supports DTS audio processing, and three microphones.
Regarding the battery, the Prestige 16 AI Studio has a 99.9 Wh cell with support for 140 W USB Type-C PD 3.1 charging. This particular model is only available in Stellar Gray color.
MSI Prestige 16 AI Evo specifications
The Prestige 16 AI has a 16-inch QHD+ display with a maximum brightness of 400 nits and an IPS panel. Under the hood, the laptop comes with Intel Core Ultra 9 or Ultra 7 processors, depending on the models users choose. In terms of memory, the laptop comes with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 dual-channel memory. While the Prestige 16 AI Studio has one NVMe M.2 SSD slot, the Prestige 16 Evo has two slots.
In terms of ports, users get two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, an SD card reader, an HDMI port, and an RJ45 port. This model features a 99.9Wh cell supporting 100W USB Type-C PD 3.0 charging. Users also get a fingerprint reader, IR webcam, and setup dual-speaker with DTS audio processing. The Lenovo Prestige 16 AI Evo is only available in Stellar Gray color.
MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo specifications
Besides the two 16-inch laptops, MSI also released a compact version that features a 13.3-inch 2.8K OLED display. Called the Prestige 13 AI Evo, the laptop comes with Intel Core Ultra 7 or Ultra 5 processors, up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and an NVMe SSD slot for storage. However, this model, like the 16-inch EVO variant, does not have dedicated graphics.
Nonetheless, users still get plenty of ports, including two Thunderbolt 4 ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, an HDMI port, a microSD card reader, and a Kensington lock. The battery is slightly smaller at 75Wh and supports 65W PD Type-C charging. The laptop retains two 2W speakers with DTS audio processing and has a three-microphone array.
Unlike the other two models, this laptop weighs 990 grams, making it extremely lightweight. The MSI Prestige 13 AI Evo is available in two colors: Stellar and Gray Pure White.
