Starfield Will Be Getting Updates Every 6 Weeks, Bethesda Says،
Even if this is not going very well within the community, it is still early to Star Field. Bethesda's latest IP is at least in the running for a Steam award, and as we approach 2024, the studio has been dropping hints as to what's to come for the game.
Next major Starfield update coming in February
In a recent post on Reddit, a spokesperson for the developer provided an update on what fans can expect from Starfield in 2024. To start, Bethesda plans to send out patches – including quality of life changes and updates. bug fixes – every six months. weeks, with the first major update expected in February.
As for what the focus is actually on, the post goes on to list a number of changes and implementations. The full list is as follows:
- City maps
- New ways to travel
- New ways to customize your ships
- New game options to further adjust difficulty
- Official mod support with the launch of Creations
- Our first story expansion, Shattered Space
The latter is particularly interesting, especially for those who have completed the main quest for a long time as well as many side missions. As for “new ways of traveling”, this is something that has already been mentioned in the past. More details about the future can be found on the Starfield official website.
It's been a strange few months for the space RPG. It went from one of the most talked about games of this generation to something that dropped more than a few radars in rapid succession.
While Star Field still sits with a rating of “Mixed” on Steamthere is hope that in the future the studio can reinvigorate what Todd Howard had obviously hoped would be his magnum opus.
