Carabao Cup semifinals: Liverpool vs. Fulham, Boro vs. Chelsea

Nine-time champions Liverpool face Fulham in the Carabao Cup semi-final in January, while Championship side Middlesbrough face Chelsea.

The draw came moments after Liverpool lost 5-1 to West Ham United on Wednesday to claim the last of the fourth places.

The first leg semi-finals will be played the week of January 8 and the return matches will begin on January 22. The final will take place on February 25 at Wembley Stadium.

Liverpool claimed a record 19th place in the semi-finals, and their nine League Cup titles are also a record.
