One UI 7 release date predictions, supported devices, and possible features،

Samsung's next major software update, One UI 7, will surely arrive in late 2024 and bring Android 15 to all compatible Samsung phones.

One UI is the most refined and feature-rich custom Android skin Samsung has offered so far, beating TouchWiz and Samsung Experience by a mile. The current iteration, One UI 6, is a superb testament to Samsung's ability to deliver one of, if not the best, custom Android skins.

Release date of a UI 7

No specific date yet, but we can expect One UI 7 sometime after the official release of Android 15. This usually happens every year in late summer or early fall , with previous versions of Android launching in late August/early September, but Android 14 was delayed slightly and arrived in early October 2023.
Provided Android 15 follows suit, we can expect One UI 7 around a month after that. So, we could probably expect One UI 7 to be available in November or early December for most eligible Samsung phones.

A device eligible for UI 7

Undoubtedly, many current and upcoming Samsung devices will receive One UI 7 once it becomes available. As the software will be built on the upcoming Android 15, all Samsung phones expected to receive Android 15 will receive One UI 7.

This includes (but is not limited to) the following device families:

One UI 7 plans new features

So far, the rumor mill is pretty tight-lipped on any likely details of One UI 7, including any features or functionality. As with iOS, leaks and rumors about upcoming software releases are much less common than the usual hardware and device leaks.

However, given the growing adoption of AI in the industry, we wouldn't be surprised if One UI 7 places more emphasis on generative artificial intelligence and machine learning. Rumors claim that Apple will rely heavily on AI to power the upcoming iOS 18 software release, and we're pretty sure Google will continue to devote a lot of resources to AI as well.
