The Galaxy S24 Ultra to bring brand new Gorilla Glass Armor, plus a “56% better frame”،

The latest pack of Galaxy S24 Ultra rumors is a mix of “Yes!!!” And “Surely not!”

Let’s jump right in and find out exactly why.

Today's chatter is curated by X/Twitter tipster Ahmed Qwaiderwho shares information about Galaxy S24 Ultra from its unspecified sources. His post is extremely brief, without commenting or expanding on the bulleted list with purported specifications (via SamMobile).

First, it lists the five camera setup: a 200 MP main camera, a 50 MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom (10x optical quality zoom with in-sensor crop), a 12 MP, a 10 MP telephoto lens with 3x. optical zoom and a 12 MP selfie shooter on the front.

Then the rumor extends to the screen, which would (once again) bring a brightness of 2,600 nits, compared to the paltry 1,750 nits of the Galaxy S23 Ultra's screen.

“GG, GG!” » (Good game, Gorilla Glass!)

“GG Armor” is what makes this rumored pack very exciting, as it is apparently Corning’s next-generation Gorilla Glass. Currently unofficial and unconfirmed, this Gorilla Glass Armor screen protection could be the direct successor to Gorilla Glass Victus 2, the same one found on the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Then the – probably “stronger” or “stronger” than the frame of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, RIGHT? After all, titanium is very strong and chic.

Samsung is also reportedly using a larger vapor chamber cooling system that keeps the chip 1.9 times cooler than its predecessor, too: LPDDR5X RAM.

And now for something completely different

Then the tipster strangely concludes by stating that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip will be featured in the Galaxy S24 Ultra “in most countries around the world, not just America and China.” Wait what? Wasn't it the Galaxy S24 Ultra supposed to sport the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 globally, regardless of the market it was sold in?

The battery is supposed to have a capacity of 5,000 mAh (so far, so good), and then there's another shocker: 25W charging speeds – but isn't that what the Is vanilla Galaxy S24 supposed to bring to the table? Reports from all sides point to charging speeds of 45W for the Galaxy S24 Ultraso let's hope it's a typo.

Here is the X/Twitter message itself:
