Super Bowl LXI to be played at SoFi Stadium in L.A.،
NFL owners voted Wednesday to award Super Bowl LXI in 2027 to Los Angeles.
The vote, which was unanimous, took place at league meetings in Dallas.
The match will be televised by ESPN and ABC. It will be the first telecast of the Super Bowl on ESPN and the first telecast of the game on ABC since Super Bowl XL in February 2006.
“We are very excited to bring the Super Bowl back to Los Angeles for the second time in five years,” NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement. “The city did an outstanding job hosting Super Bowl 56 at the incredible SoFi Stadium and we think Super Bowl 61 will be even more memorable.”
The league and team events committee evolved their Super Bowl selection process five years ago to focus on one city as a potential host.
The NFL selected the venue that was used to host Super Bowl LVI and the College Football Playoff National Championship on January 9, 2023, solidifying the league's roster for the next four years:

The league will sandwich the Super Bowl between the World Cup in 2026, when Los Angeles will be one of 16 North American host cities, and the Summer Olympics in 2028, giving Los Angeles a mega tripleheader. -sporting events which will make it one of the sporting capitals of the world.
The league had considered Los Angeles for an earlier Super Bowl, but due to its sports congestion and commitment to hosting other events, it pushed it back until 2027.
