Date is Out! Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Series 5G to launch in India on January 4،
2024 is about to arrive and the month of January itself will witness major smartphone launches by leading tech giants. While Vivo is expected to launch the X100 Series and Samsung will offer the Samsung Galaxy S24 serieswhich reportedly became official on January 17, Xiaomi also shared a major update regarding its Note 13 series.
Xiaomi India took to Twitter to confirm that the Redmi Note 13 5G series will be coming to India on January 4. The Redmi Note 13 series would include three smartphones: Redmi Note 13 5G, Redmi Note 13 Pro And Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G. The date was already mentioned when the brand launched the Redmi 13C earlier this month. During the live event, the company confirmed that the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus will arrive in India in January 2024 and now the date has been confirmed.

The tweet contains a link to a page with the “Notify Me” button and mentions that the Redmi Note series has sold over 33.8 million units worldwide. Other than that, there are no other details on the page. The event will be streamed live on the official Xiaomi India YouTube page.

Redmi Note 13 series: expected specifications
Redmi Note 13 sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is powered by the Dimensity 6080 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. At the back is a dual camera setup with 100MP+2MP lenses on the rear and a 16MP camera on the front. Under the hood is a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging and the device runs MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box.
Redmi Note 13 Pro and Pro+ have the same 6.67-inch 1.5K FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. While the Pro variant is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with up to 16GB of RAM and up to at 512GB of storage, the Pro Plus model is powered by the Dimensity 7200 chipset with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage.
Both phones feature a triple camera setup on the back, comprising a 200 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide, and a 2 MP macro sensor. On the front, above the display, there is a 16 MP sensor for selfies and video calls. The Note 13 Pro gets its juice from a 5,100mAh battery with 67W fast charging, while the Pro+ has a 5,000mAh battery with 120W wired charging. Redmi Note 13 Pro and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ run MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box.
Redmi Note 13 series: expected price
The Redmi Note 13 5G is expected to cost around 12,000 for the base model, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro could cost around 16,000 for the base storage variant. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ could start at around Rs. 9,999. 21,000 for the Indian market.
