Samsung reportedly plans to sell nearly 16 million Galaxy S24 Ultra units in 2024،
With global sales of the Galaxy S23 series expected to reach 25 million units worldwide, Samsung plans to ship 35.2 million units of its next flagship lineup globally in 2024. The unveiling is rumored to would be scheduled for January 17, pre-orders from Galaxy S24 range are expected to kick off on the same day and culminate in a January 30th release date for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
By The Elect (via SamMobile), Samsung's crystal ball shows that consumers around the world are buying 13.5 million units of the Galaxy S245.8 million Galaxy S24+ combined, and the largest 15.9 million units on the market Galaxy S24 Ultra. All three phones are rumored to feature brighter displays with the panel on the Galaxy S24 Ultra offering up to 2600 nits of peak brightness. Another selling point should be the new AI features for the trio.
As usual, the spotlight is focused more particularly on Galaxy S24 Ultra which Samsung hopes will attract buyers with a new titanium version, an improved 200 MP rear camera and the ability to shoot 8K video while using 5x optical zoom. Currently, in 8K, Galaxy S23 Ultra users can only film with digital zoom. The top-of-the-line 2024 model will also sport a 5,000 mAh battery, compared to a 4,000 mAh cell for the S24 and a 4,900 mAh battery for the S24. Galaxy S24+.

THE Galaxy S24 And Galaxy S24+ expected to be powered by the Exynos 2400 deca-core chipset in all markets except the US and China; in these countries, both phones will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 application processor (AP). In all markets, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have the Snapdragon 8 generation 3 AP under the hood.
If the rumors are correct, Samsung presents its new flagship range two weeks before the Galaxy S23 The series was revealed this year and the release date was rumored to be 18 days ahead of this year's schedule. Sammy's goal here is to start competing with the iPhone 15 series earlier and in the process, gaining additional sales that it might have lost to Apple otherwise.
