The Browns pulled off the surprise of the season, with backup PJ Walker leading Cleveland to a victory over the previously undefeated 49ers.

Many teams around the league are in for a nervous 24 hours as a number of stars suffered injuries in Week 6, including Christian McCaffrey, Justin Fields and Trevor Lawrence.

Meanwhile, Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill could face a fine from the NFL for a hilarious and unique touchdown celebration involving a fan’s phone.

SUPER BOWL FAVORITES SUFFER SHOCK LOSS AMID BRUTAL NFL INJURIES

The San Francisco 49ers were stunned by the Cleveland Browns Monday morning in their first loss of the season, but more concerning are the injuries suffered by star players Deebo Samuel and Christian McCaffrey.

49ers kicker Jake Moody had a chance to win the game for San Francisco, but missed it wide right, giving the Browns a shock 19-17 victory.

Samuel injured his shoulder in the first half and did not return (shoulder). Subsequent x-rays were negative.

McCaffrey injured his oblique and looked with visible pain on the sidelines. The tough running back returned to the game briefly but had to return.

McCaffrey managed to score a touchdown for the 15th consecutive game before the injury, tying the NFL record.

The loss drops the 49ers to 5-1, leaving Philadelphia as the only undefeated team in the NFL.

Quarterback Brock Purdy, who would have topped most pundits’ MVP rankings heading into Week 6, struggled with his two best weapons sidelined.

Purdy threw his first interception of the season and completed less than 50% of his passes, finishing with a stat line of 12/27, 125 yards, TD, INT.

Samuel and McCaffrey weren’t the only two stars to suffer injuries in Week 6.

Bears quarterback Justin Fields left his team’s game against the Vikings after suffering a dislocated thumb.

Like Samuel, his x-rays came back negative and more will be revealed when Fields has tests tomorrow.

Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was also injured late in the win over the Colts, but didn’t seem too concerned after the game.

“I feel pretty good,” Lawrence said after the 37-20 victory.

“Walking is good. It’s a little bruised too, so I’m just trying to figure out what it is now.

Lions running back David Montgomery, one of the hottest players in the NFL right now, failed to finish.

Montgomery suffered what appears to be a shoulder injury in the win over Tampa Bay.

BROWNS RECORDS FAMOUS VICTORY AS QUESTIONS AROUND CONTROVERSIAL STAR REMAINS

If you were still alive in a group of survivors, facing the Browns in Week 6 would have been a tempting choice.

Cleveland started the game as $4.75 underdogs against the 49ers, with many giving them no hope, especially with starting quarterback Deshaun Watson once again out with a rotator cuff injury.

The Browns turned to career backup PJ Walker, who was making his first appearance on his fourth NFL team.

Walker wasn’t brilliant, but he moved the ball when he needed to, teaming up with WR Amari Cooper for a handful of big plays.

Cleveland’s defense had a poor performance against the Ravens in their last game, but they returned to their best Monday morning, reducing a potent offense to just 17 points.

Despite being cleared to play over a week ago, Watson is still out due to his injury. Strangely, the Browns didn’t want to reveal too much, leaving many fans in the dark.

The fact that Watson hasn’t been placed on IR likely means his return is imminent, but if he can’t go next week, the Browns will have no problem trusting Walker again.

DOLPHINS STAR WILL BE FINED FOR EFFECTIVE TD CELEBRATION

Miami WR Tyreek Hill was at his best against the Panthers, scoring a touchdown to go along with his 163 receiving yards, but it was his hilarious antics after that touchdown that got people talking.

Hill caught a 41-yard TD pass from Tua Tagovailoa before finding a phone-wielding fan in the crowd.

Hill took the fan’s phone and began taking a video of himself performing a backflip.

The star wideout was penalized 15 yards for this act and is sure to draw the ire of the NFL.

The Dolphins found themselves in a 14-0 hole early on against the winless Panthers, before heating up and hanging 42 points on their opponents, with Hill and RB Raheem Mostert starring.

With the win, Miami improves to 5-1, extending its lead in the AFC East.
