Vivo X100 and X100 Pro confirmed to launch globally on December 14

After being launched in the Chinese market, Vivo X100 and X100 Pro also appear to be launched globally on December 14. Vivo has officially confirmed the launch date on its global website with a dedicated event page for the X100 and X100 Pro. He also revealed information about pre-orders which would have started on November 24.

Reports suggest that it seems like Vivo released an inaccurate date for pre-orders since Vivo has yet to officially confirm any date for the upcoming X100 series. Regardless, we will know more about the Vivo X100 series in the coming days given that the launch is only this Thursday.

Vivo X100 Series Specifications

As the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro duo has arrived in the Chinese market, we are aware of what they will bring if everything remains the same.

The Vivo X100 and Both devices are surprisingly IP68 rated for dust and water protection, which far and away achieves what OnePlus 12 and Realme GT5 Pro did a few days ago.

Next, both devices house a 50 MP primary sensor and a 50 MP ultra-wide sensor at the helm. The only distinction is the third camera where the standard non-Pro variant uses a 64 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. On the other hand, the Pro uses a 50MP telephoto lens with 4.3x optical and 100x digital zoom, which is great for photography, although the more you zoom, the worse the quality generally gets.

Both phones are powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9300 SoC which recently attracted attention as it was throttled by 46% in just 2 minutes of stress testing. There is up to 16GB of LPDDR5T RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage on board.

We have a 5,000 mAh battery on the non-Pro flanked by 120W wired charging. The Pro gets a 5,400 mAh battery while adding 50W wireless charging and 100W wired charging (compared to 120 W on non-Pro models).
