Xiaomi 15 And Xiaomi 15 Pro To Run On Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC: Leak

A hot minute after the launch of the Xiaomi 14, rumors about the Xiaomi 15 series started pouring in. First, the series will contain two smartphones, including the Xiaomi 15 and the Xiaomi 15 Pro. These are expected to arrive around the same time next year, i.e. October 2024. The first information about these phones reveals the type of screen and the chipset they will be equipped with. Xiaomi 15 specifications leaked

According to Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the vanilla Xiaomi 15 will have a 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a resolution of 1.5. Like the Xiaomi 14, the Xiaomi 15 is expected to have flat edges on the side. However, the tipster also mentions that these parameters can still be improved, indicating that the company could be finalizing the specifications.

Both phones will feature the unreleased Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC

Both the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro are expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC, which is also expected to be released next year. Additionally, the Pro variant could also feature 0.6mm thinner bezels, compared to the 0.9mm thick bezels of the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Even though the leak is of this magnitude, it is still very early, since we are almost a year away from launch. In a few months, the company could modify certain aspects depending on the performance of the prototypes.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi will launch the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in March 2024. The phone will feature a quad-camera setup with two telephoto lenses and run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
