Representatives of the Barcelona striker Robert LewandowskI received a contact from the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF), according to Rudy Galetti.
The PIF are hoping to begin discussions over a possible move that would see the 35-year-old move to the Saudi Pro League, having already had him on the radar this summer.
Lewandowski chose to stay with the Blaugrana last season after helping them win the La Liga title, following a campaign in which he scored 23 goals and assisted seven others in 34 matches.

Similar form this season has seen him directly contribute to 10 goals in 13 games, and there are still over two years left on his contract, which is not due to expire until the summer of 2026.
But after Saudi clubs managed to sign Karim Benzema before missing out on attempts to sign Lewandowski and Liverpool Mohamed Salahthe latest indicates that their interest in Europe's biggest stars should resurface at the opening of the winter transfer window.

– Liverpool appreciate Wolfsburg central defender Maxence Lacroix, reports the Mirror. The 23-year-old is seen as a potential replacement for Joel Matip, who, as well as being about to enter the final six months of his contract, suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury during the 4-3 win over Fulham on Sunday. Lacroix is reportedly available for a fee in excess of £25million.

– An agreement has been reached between Juventus and the winger Federico Chiesa on a one-year contract extension, reports Gazzetta dello Sport. THE Bianconeri have prioritized signing the 26-year-old for new terms in recent times, but it is reported that the deal was agreed on the basis that the club will consider offloading him if an offer from a suitable club arrives this summer.
– West Ham best placed to secure the signing of the Lyon winger Rayan Cherki, reports TeamTalk. The 20-year-old was recently reported to be available for a transfer on Thursday for a fee of €20 million, and having previously been linked with Chelsea, it appears the Hammers are now at the front of the queue for him.
– Juventus are closely monitoring the Lazio winger's situation Felipe Anderson, reveals Matteo Moretto.
