Samsung’s Mobile design chief reportedly tasked with creating new look for Galaxy S25 line،

For the most part, the Galaxy S24 series will look similar to the Galaxy S23 lineup. Of course, there's the matter of the Galaxy S24 Ultra's titanium construction. For 2025, the Galaxy S25 is expected to feature a design change. A tweet posted today on “X” by a tipster Revegnus (via SamMobile) says Ilhwan Lee, head of the MX (Mobile eXperience) division design team, was tasked with making the Galaxy 2025 flagship models feel “fresh.”
This same tipster already told us that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will feature a 200 MP main camera with a new 1-inch image sensor with 0.8 µm pixels, dual autofocus pixels and a cropping zoom integrated into the sensor. He also said that Samsung will replace the 50 MP ISOCELL GN3 image sensor which is expected to be used again on the Galaxy S24 And Galaxy S24+ with Sony image sensors. With Sony's image sensors considered the best, this could be a major change for Samsung's flagship lineup in 2025.

Whatever design changes Lee makes to the Galaxy S25 line will likely eventually trickle down to Samsung's mid-range Galaxy A series. Lee is a former designer at automaker Mercedes-Benz and has led the Mobile eXperience (MX) design team since December 2022.

Samsung is looking to bring its flagship series to market a little earlier this year in a bid to take some business away from Apple's iPhone 15 models and the Pixel 8 line. This year, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S23 series on February 1 and released the line on February 17. The latest rumor calls for Samsung to introduce the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra in 2024 on January 17 and release the phones on January 30.

Samsung could try to unveil and launch the Galaxy S25 lineup even earlier in 2025. We could see some of the models that year powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 application processor for Galaxy built on the 3nm process node from TSMC.
