GTA 6 Trailer Has Already Been Watched More Times Than GTA 5’s Reveal

By now, many of you reading this will have watched the first official trailer for GTA 6. Some of you will have seen it several times. In fact, the number of views the teaser already has is pretty staggering.

At the time of writing, the GTA 6 trailer on YouTube has over 103 million views. Even for Rockstar Games, that's an astonishing number, and the video has only been available for a few days.

By comparison, the trailer because Grand Theft Auto 5 has just over 100 million views, meaning GTA 6 has already surpassed its predecessor. Keep in mind that the first one is 12 years old, so who knows how far the second one will go as the weeks and months go by.

Although there is still a way to go until it surpasses the Minecraft official trailer – which has 167 million views – there's every chance that Rockstar's latest will surpass it with the greatest of ease.

This kind of shows how excited people are for the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series. The fifth installment has been out for over a decade – becoming one of the best-selling games in recent memory – and hints of a follow-up have been circulating for almost as long.

Currently we do not know when GTA6 will be released, aside from the proposed launch window of 2025. It was also announced that the game would be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. No mention of a PC version yet, which will disappoint a lot of fans.
