GTA 6 Coming to PS5 and Xbox Series, No Mention of PC

Recently, Rockstar revealed the first official trailer for the highly anticipated GTA6. It was released a little earlier than expected due to leaks on social networks. Now that we've all seen it, many will be curious to know which systems the next Grand Theft Auto game will be available on.

Already more than 60 million views

The GTA 6 trailer is something that many have been waiting for for a long time. Although he doesn't reveal an exact release date, we are treated to a 90-second teaser, showing us what the long-awaited installment will (probably) look like. Currently, the game is expected to launch sometime in 2025.

However, PC users might be upset to learn that parent company Take-Two Interactive – also known as T2 or T2 Games – has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. No other platforms have been mentioned yet.

More details in the Press release state that the new game will be heading to “the state of Leonida, home to the neon-drenched streets of Vice City and beyond.” GTA 6 is described as “the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”

Many gamers will no doubt have flashbacks to the release of GTA 5 in 2013. Initially a console version, a PC port was eventually released, but only in mid-2015. Given this, it could be until 2027 before the sixth game hits PC, but that's just speculation at this point.

Hopefully Rockstar or Take-Two will have more information on this soon, but for now, GTA6 is only coming to current-gen PlayStation and Xbox.
