Massive Galaxy S24 leak reveals standard model may disappoint US buyers،

With the FCC approval in the bag, Samsung is reportedly gearing up for the Galaxy S24 Unpacked event taking place on January 17. While no groundbreaking upgrades are expected, the South Korean giant is rumored to introduce some changes to differentiate the lineup from the outgoing lineup. Windows Report today released almost all the expected specifications of the phones along with new renders.
The report largely corroborates rumors that seem legitimate, including the Galaxy S24 Ultra ditching the 10MP 10x periscope camera for a 50MP unit with 5x zoom, a flat screen for the Ultra, bigger batteries for the base and Plus models, and new AI features across the entire range.

According to the report, the new phones will be able to translate messages in real time, offer generative AI to make image editing easier, and display better search capabilities. This includes the ability to display information about any user-highlighted area of an image.

Initially, only the Galaxy S24 Ultra It was rumored to adopt a titanium frame, but later rumors indicated that all three models could replace the aluminum frame. Today’s report indicates that only the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have titanium sides.
As previous rumors have said, the phones will likely come in black, gray, purple, and yellow, but Samsung will use different marketing names for them.

New AI capabilities will require a better cooling solution. For this reason, all phones will apparently come with larger vapor chambers. The S24 Ultra will have a 1.9 times larger chamber, the S24 Plus will have a 1.5 times larger cooling chamber, and the S24 will have a 1.6 times larger chamber.

Perhaps the most surprising information from the report is that Galaxy S24 will be powered by the Exynos 2400. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of this possibility. In August, a report indicated that the base model would be powered by an in-house chip, while the other two variants would be backed by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Samsung could be doing this to cut costs, as rumors say. Snapdragon 8 generation 3 is more expensive than its predecessor.
European and Asian consumers may not be as disappointed by this so-called decision as American and Chinese buyers. Even though all Galaxy S23 phones use a Snapdragon chip, this is an exception and not the norm, as Samsung typically equips phones aimed at Europe and Asia with Exynos chips.
