Updates to popular Samsung Internet Browser kill bugs, add new features،

One of the most popular Android browsers is Samsung Internet Browser, available on the website. Google Play Store and the Galaxy Shop. This is one of the few Samsung apps available for non-Galaxy Android handsets. Whenever I get a new Android phone, I make sure to install the Samsung Internet Browser on it. A new update has been released for the app that fixes some bugs, makes general improvements, and adds stability and performance improvements.
By SamMobile, Samsung Internet Browser version 23.0.1.1 fixes an issue that prevented some external applications from opening when the user attempted to make an online payment on certain websites. Since many payments are made online these days, it was important for browser users to remove this bug. And Sammy continues to work to improve its browser by adding features that other mobile browsers already have, including auto-completing the name of previous sites you have visited using the browser, and also adding a history of the browser.

The latest Samsung Internet Browser update weighs in at 60.38 MB. Calling the app popular may be an understatement, as it has been installed over a billion times from the Google Play Store alone. Please note that the latest update to version 23.0.1.1 is only available on the Galaxy Store. The version in the Play Store is v23.0.0.47 which includes:

  • Increased the number of days of history saved.
  • Support for autocomplete URLs in the address bar.
  • New support for tab group sync.

On Galaxy handsets, Samsung Internet Browser and Google Chrome come pre-installed. To make the Samsung Internet Browser app the default browser on your Galaxy handset, swipe down from your Home screen to open Quick Settings and tap the Settings icon at the top right of the screen. Scroll to Apps, tap it and at the top of the screen, tap Choose default apps > Browser apps.

Follow these instructions and you will see three options to choose as your default browser: Bing, Samsung Internet Browser and Chrome. After making your selection, press the home button to return to the home screen.
