Rumor mill: Nothing Phone 2a in the works as a mid-range phone

I think it’s safe to assume that Nothing is already working on its third flagship, Nothing Phone (3), but we didn’t know until recently that the company was planning to launch an additional device.

The unannounced Nothing Phone 2a appears to be a mid-range handset that Nothing has been working on since the release of its most recent device, the Nothing Phone (2).

According to Twitter leak, the phone will feature a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a punch-hole front camera. The leaker also posted a blurry photo that presumably shows the back of the phone.

Unfortunately, the image details are barely visible, so apart from the dual camera and the transparent rear panel, we can’t say much else about the Nothing Phone 2a.

Again, it’s not the Nothing Phone (3) we’re expecting, but a more affordable and not-so-cheap model to launch under Nothing’s CMF brand.

Given that the person who leaked the information claims to have seen the phone in real life, the Nothing Phone 2a may not be too far from being announced. Still, we recommend our readers take the report with a grain of salt until we have more information on Nothing’s mid-range device, so stay tuned for more.
