Toulouse shot out of the blocks at the Allianz Riviera as they tore through the Nice defense and had the ball in the net in the second minute, but the goal was ruled out due to a foul by Vincent Sierro in the build-up.

Nice is the only team, with PSG, to remain undefeated in Ligue 1.

The visitors continued to cause Nice problems, but after weathering the storm in a scoreless first half, Francesco Farioli brought on Alexis Claude-Maurice in place of Sofiane Diop at half-time.

The reshuffle seemed to breathe life into Nice and they broke the deadlock in the 54th minute when Morgan Sanson replaced Moffi, who scored a simple goal for his fourth league goal of the season.

Substitute Ibrahim Cissoko almost leveled the game in the 80th minute with a low shot, but Dante’s final block took the venom out of the shot before Khephren Thuram headed the ball away to secure an eighth consecutive clean sheet for his side.
