Transfer Talk: Wolves want Ramsdale on loan if Sa leaves،

The winter transfer window has not yet reopened in Europe, but movements are underway and a lot of gossip is circulating. Transfer Talk brings you all the latest buzz on rumors, comings and goings and, of course, done deals!

TOP STORY: Wolves set their sights on Ramsdale

Wolverhampton Wanderers want to sign Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale on loan with an obligation to make the deal permanent, according to the Daily Star.

Several Saudi Pro League clubs reportedly tracking 30-year-old goalkeeper Jose Sa, and Wolves boss Gary O’Neil is ready to move to his number 1 if a £35million deal can be agreed. If this move goes through, Ramsdale would be Wolves’ first choice to replace Sa.

There have been many questions surrounding Ramsdale’s future at the Emirates following the arrival of David Raya on loan from Brentford, with the 25-year-old happy to fight for his place at the Gunners but preferring to be guaranteed first team football.

This is no longer provided by Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, but would be at Wolves. It is believed that a return to the Midlands could be an attractive option for Stoke-on-Trent-born Ramsdale.

Ramsdale made his first Premier League appearance since early September in Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Brentford on Saturday, as Raya was not allowed to play against his parent club.
