Apple’s Experts Will Visit India To Investigate The Threat Notifications Incident

Apple, the Cupertino-based iPhone maker, is sending a team of experts to India. The team will investigate the recent case of Indian politicians like Shashi Tharoor, Mahua Moitra and Priyanka Chaturvedi, among others, who received threat notifications from Apple. In October, these politicians received threat alerts on their iPhones, indicating that cyberattackers might target them, sparking an elaborate digital controversy.

Visa issue delayed visit

Following the threat notifications, India’s IT minister ordered an investigation, asking Apple to provide assistance and assistance. In response, the company said it does not link threat notifications to a particular attacker and that the alerts could be false alarms. According to a recent report by CNBC TV18, Apple representatives in India interacted with the government. However, technical experts facing visa issues will soon visit the country.
