At a time when tech giants like Google and Microsoft are pushing their AI products, X’s focus on integrating Grok reflects the company’s strategy. Musk doesn’t want X to stay behind and lose ground in any way. While limiting Grok to paid users may limit its user base, especially since AI chatbots from OpenAI and Google are available to free users, Grok’s presence in X should provide users with a personalized user experience .
Here’s what we want Grok to do
At the moment, we don’t know all of Grok’s abilities. It would be helpful if Grok helped users discover the origin of a tweet, recognize the content of images or videos, help them write captions for their tweets, suggest replies to DMs or comments, and retrieve from users all the information on a subject. Grok will be available for Premium+ users
In a Twitter thread, @icreatelife claims that Grok’s cognitive quality is between GPT 3 and 4, but “is much better in other aspects.” Additionally, Musk also confirmed that Grok will be available to Premium+ subscribers starting the week of November 27, 2023. For the uninitiated, Premium+ costs $16 per month or $168 per year on the web. The Premium+ tier costs Rs. 9,999. 1,300 or Rs. 13,600 per year in India.
