The Galaxy S24 series might bring Instagram access even when locked

This is a rumor that will delight influencers, if it comes true. It looks like Samsung and Instagram are working together to bring a feature to the tech giant’s next-generation flagships.

Apparently, the Galaxy S24 series can provide lock screen access to the Instagram camera (via 9to5Google).

The report refers to a Twitter/X message from leaker Alessandro Paluzzi, here it is:
“Access the Instagram camera from your lock screen. Samsung Galaxy S24 users can now enable an Instagram camera shortcut in Settings,” the screenshot of the post reads. You’re talking about speed, huh? This is not the first Samsung/Instagram collaboration. A few years ago, the Galaxy S10 series featured something called “Instagram Mode” in the phone’s camera app. This mode allowed users to upload all their favorite photos directly to Instagram.

We will have to wait and get the Galaxy S24 in our hands to check if it is indeed possible to access the Instagram camera without unlocking the phone.

OK but when?

At this point, it’s only a matter of weeks until the Galaxy S24 arrives, if the expected premiere date of January 17, 2024 proves correct. Time flies even faster in December, so Samsung’s next flagship range is really fast approaching!

According to reports, the event will take place in San Jose and will be streamed live. We can’t wait!
